Unsolicited Materials Submissions Policy

Gina Lockhart, Philosophia Studios and Rock Media Productions together with any of its subsidiaries (the "Companies") can not accept unsolicited material.

Any unsolicited pitches, outlines, scripts, etc will not be read and will be discarded. Any electronic messages will not be read and will be deleted. The purpose of this policy is to avoid potential misunderstandings, disputes or accusations that the Companies have misappropriated unsolicited material.

The Companies recommend that you find an agent or attorney to represent you and your work. If you choose to submit anyway, the Companies will not be obligated to treat your submission as confidential or proprietary.

Any unsolicited emails asking for funding or asked to forward the crowd-funding will not be read for the same reasons. Please read this article about unsolited emails.

When you're building an email list, the short story is: When in doubt, get permission to use their email address for your marketing.

Never, ever use a call sheet from a film you have worked on to use for your own personal or friends film. This is extremely unprofessional.

Never send marketing emails to someone who hasn't specifically requested them. Prospects, leads, friends, family, and even previous customers aren't fair game. Get permission.

Never send marketing emails to a list you purchased or "scraped" from websites. Get permission.

Don't send to people you think or assume might be interested in hearing from you, like colleagues, co-members of your association, or people you met at a trade show. Get permission.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation with this policy. If you have any questions, please contact Gina Lockhart.
